Iceland Joins the list of Countries with Digital Nomad Visas

That’s right folks! Iceland is up next in the ever growing list of countries offering digital nomad visas for they skyrocketing remote work force which is here to stay.

According to Schengenvisainfo.com, “Internationals engaged in telework are allowed now to apply for a long-term visa, which permits them and their families to stay in Iceland for more than six months.”

“The amendment applies to foreign nationals who do not need a visa to travel to Iceland. To be granted permission for an extended stay, the person in question must demonstrate an employment relationship with a foreign company (or verify self-employment in the country where they have a permanent residence) and meet the income and health insurance requirements” work.island.is notes.
