New York-- February 26, 2021
Adventurely is excited to announce today that we were selected to join the first nationwide cohort of the Google for Startups Founders Academy! The Google For Startups Founders Academy program is designed to help promising founders and their startups grow revenues and obtain access to capital.
The Founders Academy will begin on March 3 and consist of hands-on workshops across a range of topics including customer acquisition, hiring, and fundraising. Adventurely is one of only 50 startups that the Google for Startups team selected for the first nationwide cohort. The founders Academy model was originally piloted in Atlanta last year with 45 Georgia based companies.
“Having this support of Google For Startups and being one of the 50 selected Founders for their program comes at an exciting time for Adventurely!” Mita Carriman, Adventurely’s Founder notes.

“The travel industry is starting to make a comeback specifically around digital nomad travel, and this was a trend Adventurely was building ahead of before the pandemic. With 100 Million Americans now working remotely and increasing distribution of vaccines, the digital nomad market is going to explode, and Adventurely is here to be the remote-social app for the new normal of a remote-work while traveling life” Carriman Adds.
Jewel Burks Solomon, Head of Google for Startups US notes: “By expanding the program nationally, we’re hopeful that we can continue to level the playing field for underrepresented founders and their startups, like Adventurely by connecting them to the best Google has to offer.”
Adventurely’s app makes it easy for digital nomads to connect for shared local experiences. It’s free to join at www.adventurely.app!
