Iceland Ready To Welcome Back Tourists June 15th
In an official statement from their Prime Minister, Iceland announced this week that they are welcoming travelers from outside the Schengen Zone as of June 15th.
With safety at the top of their goals, their government is planning to give travelers the option of either a covid-19 test on arrival, a two-week quarantine, or presenting a clean bill of health on arrival from your home country.
Wondering what a trip to Iceland could be like in the summer time? Visitrekjavik.is made a handy list of adventures in their capital city worth noting: hiking in the wilds of Heidmörk Nature Reserve ; taking a ferry to visit the beautiful island of Videy; having easy options at your fingertips for exploring with the Reykjavík City Card, and so much more.
