The Number of Self-Employed Workers in the U.S. is Up 57% since the Pandemic

Hat tip to Remote Work thought leader “Ro Remote” for sharing this awesome December 2022 Statistic on the growing surge of self-employed workers in the United States!

While one side of the latest stories in the media are focusing on recent tech layoffs or employers giving over-night ultimatums to employees about returning to 100% in-office work with zero remote work benefits- the other side to the story is the skyrocketing growth of employees who are transitioning at skyrocketing levels to earning their own livings as freelancers or entrepreneurs.
